Fannock's Two Week Outlook

March is roaring in like a lion and it isn't going to stop anytime soon. While there isn't any big storms over the next few days, it's going to be very cold (by March standards). These low temps are something you'd commonly see in the month of January. Lows through Thursday morning will be in the single digits. We're even talking wind chills near 0 at times. However, there is light at the end of the tunnel. March is a transition month and I do have some good news. Firstly, I'm watching a storm this weekend. This one has the potential to pack a lot of moisture. We may pick up 1" of liquid out of this storm. The million dollar question is whether it's an icy mix or just plain rain. Models, as of this evening, are leaning towards mainly plain rain. Maybe some sleet or freezing rain to start, but temps look to rapidly rise.
