East Central PA Forecast

Some of you will be under
mostly sunny skies all morning.
While others will be stuck under
a pocket of cloud cover.
By mid-day, that area of clouds
should significantly shrink.
This will allow the entire
area to see mostly sunny skies.
By 2pm, clouds start approaching
from the west. By 5pm, clouds
reach far eastern areas.
A line of downpours
and storms will be moving
through. Window for the line
is 3-9pm west to east. After 9pm,
scattered areas of rain
will still linger around.
Damaging wind gusts possible
as the line moves through.

and into the evening:
Notice above, the line starts
to break up as it moves east.
In Central PA, there's a long
line of yellows and oranges.
But as it moves over our area,
you see greens filter in. Green
isn't as heavy as yellow or orange.
So, your rain totals will significantly
vary across the region.
A few hundredths to over
an inch is possible. Highest totals
look to be across Southeastern PA up
to Interstate 78. A few pockets of
higher totals are possible
north of I-78. But "widespread"
higher totals are focused on
southeastern areas.
