First Quarter Moon:
Light snow; especially in Eastern locations of the viewing area. Snow tapers off after 6pm. Snow is mainly sticking to grassy surfaces and trees. However, after dark, untreated sidewalks and roads may become covered. On the positive side, it won't snow too much after night falls. Accumulations will range from a trace to 1" across much of the region. Areas of Eastern Schuylkill and Carbon (in elevation) may squeeze out as much as 2 inches.

Morning rain showers will move out; allowing for mostly sunny skies in the afternoon.
Plain rain showers move in during the afternoon. Along with this storm, temps will be falling throughout the day. By 3pm, you can expect temps to be in the 30's.
As nighttime moves in, temps are still falling. This will allow for wintry mix to move into the area. Snow, sleet and freezing rain are likely at this point. Eventually, it will completely change over to just snow showers. Light snow accumulations possible. Light ice accumulations possible.
