6-14 Day Outlook from the Climate Prediction Center

In the images below, you can see the CPC is expecting temps to go from below normal to near normal in the long range. This is a big difference from what they were earlier anticipating. If you saw my last article about this, they were expecting temps to be above normal. What happened? Well, model guidance trended cooler. The weather is very unpredictable; especially at this time of year. But I do agree with their current images. It seems to be the going trend lately for temps to either be below normal or near normal. As for precipitation, the CPC believes things will play out right around normal. Take a look for yourself in the 4 images below...
