Fannock's Two Week Outlook

The next 14 days of your life takes us right into Valentine's Day! Remember the Disaster Emergency declared with the V-Day Storm in 2007? Take a moment and see where we are headed this year in the article below...

February 1st will be the last day with highs in the teens until mid- February. We're actually going to see a stretch of above normal temperatures! This weekend will feature highs in the 30's and 40's. That's a huge improvement from where we've been lately. But wait, there's more! Monday and Tuesday we'll top out near 50 degrees! Yes, 50!

We'll stay in the 30's and 40's for highs right through the weekend of the 9th-10th...

Beyond the 10th, temps will gradually go downhill again. I'm not expecting cold weather like we have been through this week. However, single digits for lows are a possibility around Valentine's Day.

Storms? Yes, we must talk about storms!!

Believe it or not, we won't see much precipitation. The majority of your precipitation will be in the form of RAIN. Yes, there will be days where we see a few snow showers. However, there's no big winter storms in sight. Models are hinting at a rain event between the 7th-9th time frame. I'll keep my eye on it, but I doubt it will change to snow.

So overall, it's not looking too bad for the first half of February! Usually it's a rough month when it comes to snowy weather. I really don't go beyond 14 days with my research. But from what I've seen across the internet, the second half of the month could feature colder weather. Time will tell...
