Coldest Thanksgiving in years! Schuylkill and surrounding counties

Image
I don't want to be the bad news bear, but Thanksgiving is continuing to trend FRIGID. I can't remember a Thanksgiving that's been this cold. Here's some HIGH temps from models I look at for Mahanoy City: EURO: 18 GFS: 25 Canadian: 25 German: 22 Want to see the early morning temps? EURO: 9 GFS: 17 Canadian: 17 German: 17 At this point, the European is the only model NOT in agreement for temperatures. It's showing the coldest air, however, it can't be ruled out. Why? There's a snow pack on the ground! This could make those EURO numbers come to fruition. Oh boy, the year of crazy weather just keeps on rolling.  AVERAGE HIGH NOV. 22ND:  51 On the positive, traveling to your Great Uncle Chester's house for fake laughs, crooked smiles and canned cranberry sauce should be a piece of cake! NO PRECIPITATION EXPECTED with this arctic blast.... TONS OF SUNSHINE FOR TURKEY DAY!
