Beyond the 3 Day: Remember how I posted an article saying we'd go from HOT weather to FALL-like weather in the same week. That's still on tap! However, the cool down is only lasting one day (as of now). That's coming next Thursday-ish. Highs in the upper 70's! That will feel "chilly" after dealing with days near 90 earlier in the week.

Rain totals over the last 24 hours:

Summit Hill (Carbon County): 1.4"
Orwigsburg: 1.5"
Ashland: 1"
Tamaqua: 0.79"
Newtown (outside of Tremont): 4"

I don't have a 24 hour total in Mahanoy City, however, I did keep track of one cell that moved through my backyard. Around 4:46pm, it started pouring heavily and lasted about 18 minutes. I picked up 0.5" during that time. That's a little more than a rate of 1.5" per hour. - Ryan
