Florence First Call - Track, Rain, Wind Speed

Below is my forecast area for the CENTER of the storm to move through. Notice it ends at Friday 7pm. That's because I do not anticipate the center moving further North than that, at this time. I believe it will sit there over VA for a few days. This will create insane rainfall totals for people in states like NC and VA. Rain maps further down in article.

Below are rain maps thrown out by the EURO model. Because Florence is expected to sit and spin over the same area for days, There's a lot of land easily picking up 15"+ while the heaviest hit areas could see 25"+ of RAIN.

I do believe Florence either makes landfall as a Strong Category 3 Hurricane or a Low End Category 4 Hurricane. This is huge for the East Coast!

Category 3 sustained winds: 111-129mph

Category 4 sustained winds: 130-156mph

PREPARE FOR THE WORST AND HOPE FOR THE BEST!
