3 Day Forecast August 30th to Sept 1st


Meteorological Summer is certainly going out with a bang this week! Like I stated before this batch of hot weather started, there wouldn't be any heatwaves in Schuylkill or Carbon counties. However, I did mention Berks and points South potentially seeing a heatwave since they are usually a few degrees warmer. Reading did NOT see one because they fell short Monday with an 89 degree temp. But Allentown officially recorded a heatwave. That's impressive for the last week of August!

Thursday: Any morning sun will transition to mostly cloudy skies. A spotty shower is possible. High: 80. HUMID
